Unlike other designers who charge a mark-up on products, sourced, I am not incentivized to go out of your budget and do not mark-up products. I have designer access to specialty trade items, so I don’t have to mark up and have the ability to extend credit you based on what you spend, which is a win-win for both of us.

We do things a bit different…
You benefit by shopping direct and not having to pay the “administrative” part of my job like receiving, unpacking P.O.‘s, invoicing, installation, damage returns, etc. I benefit because I get to focus purely on what I love to do – curating the perfect space with ideal products within your budget.
Full transparency in pricing, sourcing, and product with zero markup. I have also created hundreds more traded vendor sources I’m able to use in your designs which gives you more access to trade-only sources like Four Hands, Classic Home, Bungalow 5, Caracole, Currey & Co., Regina Andrew, and more.
Retail vs Trade
Depending on your budget and preferences from our Discovery Call, we can source products from standard retailers like Restoration Hardware, CB2, Pottery Barn, West Elm Wayfair, etc., or we can source specialty trade vendors and credit you $500 for every $5000 you spend – you decide.
Trade vendors will replace any items arriving damaged, but unfortunately will not take returns which is standard for the industry.
Retail vendors each have their own return policy, so make sure to refer direct when making a return.
Trade vendors are more special in that they are not accessible to the general public about retail vendors are accessed by everyone.
Trade vendors typically are more high-end product. Lighting, artwork, and furnishings are very high-quality and unique.
Unlike many other e-design companies, Amy Baez Interiors offers both in-person and virtual design services. If you live in League City, TX, or you’re in the Galveston Bay area, you can opt for me to come out directly to your home. And if you’re a busy professional, you can always choose to have an online virtual meeting.
